What is Blended Learning?<\/span><\/h1>\n

Blended Learning is an educational methodology that embraces a hybrid option of traditional face-to-face teaching with different alternatives offered by online education.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are the Benefits?<\/span><\/h2>\n

1- It allows you to make your agenda more flexible: <\/strong><\/p>\n

In an increasingly difficult working world, with impossible schedules, trips and meetings, the option to choose when and from where you study is growing in the hearts of many students and professionals.<\/span><\/p>\n

2- We have become used to owning our decisions: <\/strong><\/p>\n

We must admit, in our day to day we choose from thousands of options of yogurts, cereals, telephone companies, taxis, insurance\u2026. Freedom of choice and the infinite possibilities associated with consumerism and liberalism affect all fields, including education.\u00a0 Our students increasingly want to have more voice and vote on how and what they study – feedback we, as teachers, love to receive!<\/span><\/p>\n

3- It is demonstrably more effective:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether for the reasons stated above, or for pedagogical evidence (showing that a student learns more as he or she gets more involved in his own “meta-learning”)<\/span>, there are several studies that ensure greater success in learning when the course counts with the characteristics of Blended education.<\/span><\/p>\n

4- Sometimes we forget things – and apps are the perfect assistant:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imagine that to your memory, your agenda and your teacher you can add an app or platform that reminds you at the right time what unit you should take back, what video you can visit to complement your learning or when it is the workshop or event to complement what you learned the last fortnight. It can definitely make a difference.<\/span><\/p>\n

5- We have the world in our hand (or in the pocket):<\/strong><\/p>\n

You get bored in the subway: you study Spanish. Your friends don’t stop talking about politics at dinner: you study Spanish. Your bus does not arrive: you study Spanish. The school is in your pocket at your fingertips at any time. And the sum of those little moments is sometimes the key to learning!<\/span><\/p>\n

6- Technology does not get tired (nor can it fall ill, nor have feelings):<\/strong><\/p>\n

How many times has it happened to us to start a course and see that we don’t like the teacher? Or feel that there is no chemistry with the facilities, or that our classmates squeak us … The possibility that part of the learning is digital minimizes the impact of all these issues, which in a 100% traditional education have no escape or alternative.<\/span><\/p>\n

7- Not everyone learns at the first time:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just as the classes cannot be rewound, nor does the teacher usually repeat his explanations, the digital options usually allow us the possibility to return again and again to what we are learning and it costs us so much … Remember: practice makes perfect!<\/span><\/p>\n

Similarly, a classroom usually has diverse students who learn at very different rates. 1- <\/span>Te permite flexibilizar tu agenda: <\/b>en un mundo laboral cada vez m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil, con horarios, viajes y reuniones imposibles, la opci\u00f3n de poder elegir cu\u00e1ndo y desde d\u00f3nde estudias gana enteros entre muchos profesionales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Imagina que a tu memoria, tu agenda y tu profesor puedes sumar una app o plataforma que te recuerda en el momento adecuado qu\u00e9 unidad debes retomar, qu\u00e9 v\u00eddeo puedes visitar para complementar tu aprendizaje o cu\u00e1ndo es el workshop o evento para complementar lo aprendido la \u00faltima quincena. 5- Tenemos el mundo en la mano (o en el bolsillo):<\/b><\/p>\n

Te aburres en el metro: estudias espa\u00f1ol. Tu amigos no paran de hablar de pol\u00edtica en la cena: estudias espa\u00f1ol. Tu autob\u00fas no llega: estudias espa\u00f1ol. La escuela est\u00e1 en tu bolsillo a tu alcance en cualquier momento. \u00a1Y la suma de esos peque\u00f1os momentos a veces son la clave para aprender!<\/span><\/p>\n

6- La tecnolog\u00eda no se cansa (ni puede caerme mal, ni tiene sentimientos):<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1ntas veces nos ha pasado empezar un curso y ver que no nos gusta el profesor? O sentir que no hay qu\u00edmica con el aula, o que nuestros compa\u00f1eros nos chirr\u00edan\u2026 La posibilidad de que parte del aprendizaje sea digital minimiza el impacto de todas estas cuestiones, que en una educaci\u00f3n 100 % tradicional no tienen escapatoria ni alternativa alguna.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

7- No todos aprendemos a la primera:<\/b><\/p>\n

9- Pero nada iguala (todav\u00eda) a la interacci\u00f3n directa con un profesor.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Que s\u00ed, que vale, que la educaci\u00f3n online tiene infinitas ventajas. Pero reconozcamos que nada es equiparable en la actualidad a un buen profesor nativo o tutor de espa\u00f1ol, ninguna m\u00e1quina tiene la capacidad de impactar, intuir y tocarnos como lo puede hacer un gran docente.
