- What do you like the most about SG?
I love the international atmosphere of the city, as much as all the green areas that the city offers.
- What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you in class?
It so difficult for me to pick up one but I think that one of the best moments I lived in a class was when I had to pay a debt because of my mum, I’ll explain more.
Usually, I like to have full attention at class, and I don’t like that my students check their Social Media while I am explaining the past tenses -for example-. One day, tired of that situation (I was in a class full of teenagers that couldn’t control their SM notifications) I propose them a challenge: the first phone that received a notification, the owner should bring the following day something that the rest of the students -me included- wished (chocolates, candies, chips, coffee, etc.); I invited them to put their phones in a common table, mine included, to check whose phone was going to be the first one. Guess what… it was mine! My mum was calling me in the middle of my working hours just to know how I was. I decided to laugh about it and share the videocall among all my students, while they were saying “Hello” to her. The next day, as I promised, I brought Ferrero Rocher chocolates to the group and a cake baked by my mother.
